Check-in was efficient, but the room was uncomfortably hot and poorly sized.

Recommend it for solo travelers seeking good comfort
I walked into a cozy room with a shower that actually felt like a warm embrace after a long day. The breakfast each morning had a machine squeezing fresh orange juice, it was like sipping sunshine.
It wasn't exactly cheap but acceptable.

Exceptional location, Unique decor, Scenic canal views nearby
Small room sizes could be a dealbreaker!!! Poor air conditioning performance was disappointing during heat waves!!! Noise issues from the street made it hard to relax!!!

The hotel is located in a quiet area, making it ideal for

I spent four nights in a Classic Room with a double bed while visiting the Anne Frank House and exploring the nearby Rijksmuseum. I appreciated the stylish decor and the cleanliness of the room. Waking up to the nice view of the canals added a delightful touch to my mornings. I was disappointed with the air conditioning, which wasn't functioning properly, affecting my comfort during the warmer days.

The Mercure in Amsterdam had a great start with an early check-in after signing up for their hotel club. The room was compact but beautifully decorated. I liked the complimentary tea and coffee options available in the room. the bathroom cleanliness needed attention. I noticed some dust and hair that had not been cleaned properly. The air conditioning struggled. it didn't cool the room effectively, which made sleeping uncomfortable. I had an issue where my key card didn’t work several times. this was frustrating after long days of exploring. The location was convenient, with a supermarket just around the corner. Breakfast options seemed pricey, so I opted for nearby local cafes instead, which were much better.

the noise from the street was kinda annoying in the mornings. also, the room we got was smaller than expected for the price we paid.
